Impact Griffis announced his retirement from football back in June, but his latest update indicates plans have changed. In 2023, he logged more than 1,500 passing yards and 10 total touchdowns, establishing himself as starter-worthy for a potential team. Griffis will spend the remainder of 2024 looking for that team, a process that could make its way into the first half of the 2025 year.

Solid day in loss Griffis completed 16 of 19 passes for 241 yards and one interception during Thursday's 24-21 loss against Duke. He also had 19 rushes for 55 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact After struggling over the past four games, Griffis had a much better day as he threw for over 200 yards for the third time on the season and also cashed in his first two rushing touchdowns on the year.
