Logs 24 carries in big win Williams had 24 carries for 62 yards and one touchdown and reeled in his only target for negative one yard during Saturday's 20-12 victory over Penn State. Impact Williams has been relegated to a role as Ohio State's third-string running back for much of the season. While the 226-pound senior missed Week 7 win against Purdue in Week 7, it appears like he may have been the Buckeyes' healthiest running back Saturday. TreVeyon Henderson (undisclosed) was still sidelined and fellow senior Chip Trayanum was limited to just nine carries after coming into the game listed as questionable with an undisclosed issue of his own. As a result, Williams slotted in as RB1 for the first time this season, as he's now logged 49 rushing attempts for 158 yards and three scores this season. With Henderson possibly coming back for the Week 9 game versus Wisconsin, it's possible Williams' workload could regress.
