ImpactIt would appear NMSU's staff wants to get the ball into the true freshman's hands more. He had seven targets last week, though they only were turned into 33 yards. This week Pride broke off a 50-yard catch, and he also got a chance to return a punt, which speaks to the desire to have him involved.

Seth McGowan - Totals over 100 yardsMcGowan ran 10 times for 74 yards and had three catches for 38 yards versus New Mexico on Saturday.

ImpactMcGowan doesn't have a touchdown in the last three weeks, but he remains the clearest path to success for NMSU's lackluster offense. He's averaged 5.5 yards per carry and has added eight catches for 64 yards and a score. While it's unlikely he's suddenly going to get 25 touches a game, there is at least some upside here.

Mike Washington - Three TD dayWashington ran 13 times for 54 yards and two touchdowns against New Mexico on Saturday. He also caught one pass for a 25-yard score.

ImpactThree touchdowns from the Buffalo transfer certainly turns head. However, these are also his first three scores of the season. He's a bit of a plodder, but the passing game is a mess for NMSU, so Washington is going to get his touches.

Larenzo McMillan - Pops for long TDMcMillan only got one carry against New Mexico on Saturday, but he turned it into an 84-yard touchdown.

ImpactMike Washington and Seth McGowan have established themselves for NMSU. Santino Marucci's one skill as a quarterback is being capable in the run game. That being said, the Aggies' are fully indebted to running the ball to do anything offensively. By dint of breaking off this touchdown run, McMillan may have earned himself more touches going forward.

Santino Marucci - Touchdowns two waysMarucci went 13-for-29 for 189 yards and a touchdown against New Mexico on Saturday. He also ran seven times for 42 yards and a score.

ImpactThis remains a team built around running the ball and its backs. Marucci's passing touchdown was a quick dump off to running back Mike Washington who turned it into a 25-yard score. Marucci is bad at throwing the ball, but he's viable on the ground, and that's more than former starter Parker Awad could say.
