Impact Evers was helped to the sidelines late in the third quarter of Saturday's game against UAB. The 6-foot-3 quarterback was on the sidelines as Joe Fagnano took over on the Huskies next drive. Evers completed 15-of-24 passes for 104 yards and an interception, adding on 41 rushing yards before leaving the game.

Quiet passing game Evers completed 10 of 16 passes for 75 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 34-27 win over Georgia State. He also had nine rushes for 25 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Evers has gone backwards the last two weeks after throwing a career best against Wake Forest (264 yards and two touchdowns) on Oct. 19. The sophomore will have a tough time rebounding in the next game against UAB on Nov. 9. The Blazers pass defense is one of the top five in the country. In contrast UAB's defense against the run is one of the worst in the country.

Impact Evers had his career best passing day that included a career-best two touchdowns. The Huskies take on Rice on Saturday (Oct. 26). The Owls pass defense is top 16 in the country so it might be a little tougher throwing, but Rice has allowed almost two passing touchdowns per game in 2024.
