Headed to the portal Rempert has announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Rempert will move on from North Texas after spending one season with the Mean Green. The 6-foot-1 senior wideout, who saw the field with Tulsa prior to making the move to UNT, tallied 11 receptions for 127 yards and one touchdown with the Mean Green this season.

Impact Rempert caught his first touchdown of the season Saturday, a 25-yard reception in the first quarter. After being shut out during the first three weeks of the season he has been fairly productive in the last three games, accumulating nine catches (on 14 targets) for 118 yards and a touchdown. While that is likely not enough to warrant serious consideration as a starter, he is certainly trending in the right direction.
