Impact Fifita and his offense didn't need to do much, as Arizona's defense did a number on the Cougars to deliver the victory. During the five-game losing streak, Fifita lacked the consistency that was a hallmark of his game last season, but Saturday's win served as a nice bounce-back for the sophomore.

Solid despite blowout loss Fifita completed 24 of 33 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 56-12 loss versus UCF. He also had seven rushes for -22 yards.

Impact Fifita did his best to turn the tide, but Arizona's defense had no answer for the Knights. The Wildcats' running game was virtually non-existent, totaling an abysmal five yards in the game. Passing lanes won't stay open for long without a rusher to threaten, and it's amazing that Fifita manager a line like this with such a deficiency.

Impact Although Fafita got Tetairoa McMillan's numbers back uo to a respectable level, his stat line was another disappointment.The sophomore is projected to fall well short of his totals from last year when he was one of the Pac-12's most prolific passers. The connection with McMillan has sputtered at times, and offensive play calling has also been an issue. Fafita will try to right the ship against UCF next week.

Impact Fifita finished with his worst stat line since taking over the job last season. Although Fifita's 2023 campaign and the standout play of Tetairoa McMillan held enormous promise, the offense has fallen off the rails in dramatic fashion over the past three contests.

Impact Fifita made several mistakes and was unable to overcome Brigham Young's defense. The Wildcats simply did not have enough opportunities and squandered the ones they had, as the Cougars dominated every aspect of this game. Despite the allotment of talent on the roster, Fifita and his receivers have been too inconsistent to compete in recent weeks.

Impact Fifita was consistently threatened by the Red Raiders' pass rush, forcing him into two costly mistakes. The offense revived enough to make a rally in the second half, but Texas Tech's defense stemmed the tide late and came away with the win. Fifita has a variety of weapons at his disposal, and he'll need to use them to better effect against a red-hot BYU team next week.

The Lumberjacks found a way to contain the potent duo, and conference foes will be looking closely at the tape to see how they accomplished that feat.
