Impact Whittington scored on Oregon's first drive of the game with a nine-yard rushing touchdown. The RB2 clearly still didn't see a ton of carries behind lead back Jordan James, who rushed 15 times for 99 yards and two touchdowns. But, Whittington logged at least nine carries for the fourth time in the last six games, and he's now accrued 52 carries for 283 yards and four rushing touchdowns to go along with two receiving scores over this span. His increased usage has been correlated somewhat with the team's stretch of blowout wins down the back half of the year. Therefore, it's unlikely that he'll see quite as much run during next week's Big Ten Championship Game versus Penn State, which boasts one of the nations' best defenses.
