ImpactEgbuka recorded a season-high 143 receiving against the Spartans' woeful passing defense, a game-long 69-yard receiving touchdown in the first quarter. Though, the sophomore did still finish behind fellow sophomore receiver Marvin Harrison in receptions (seven) and targets (nine) with Jaxon Smith-Njigba (undisclosed) once again unavailable for Saturday's game. Egbuka has now averaged 5.8 receptions and 109.2 yards on 7.8 targets per game through the first six games of the season, though he'll face a much tougher defense during the Buckeyes' next game against Iowa on Oct. 22.

ImpactHenderson saw heavy usage during Saturday's game with junior running back Miyan Williams (undisclosed) sidelined against the Spartans. After missing last week's win over Rutgers with an unknown injury, the sophomore saw a team-high 19 carries before exiting after the first play of the second half. While Henderson did appear to leave with an apparent injury, it's possible he was removed simply as a precautionary move given the blowout nature of the game. Either way, both Williams and Henderson will have an extra bye week to recover before Ohio State's next game against Iowa.
