Emeka Egbuka - Logs season-high 10 targets Week 5Egbuka reeled in 7 of 10 targets for 96 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-7 victory against Michigan State.
ImpactEgbuka logged double-digit targets for the first time since Week 4 of last season. The graduate senior finished with team-highs in targets and receptions, and he notched his second touchdown in as many weeks with a 33-yard score on a 4th-and-5 pass from Will Howard late in the third quarter. Egbuka has now rattled off three-straight productive outings since his quiet four-catch season opener. He could have a tough time keeping this rolling during next week's home game against a tough defensive opponent in Iowa.

TreVeyon Henderson - Logs 69 yards in big winHenderson logged seven rushes for 69 yards and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for negative one yard during Saturday's 38-7 win versus Michigan State.
ImpactHenderson totaled between 65 to 76 rushing yards for the fourth game in a row to start the season. The senior running back has been relatively productive despite seeing fewer carries than Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins so far this season. While the latter led the team with 11 carries against Michigan State, true freshman James Peoples also saw increased usage with 10 carries for 29 yards. There haven't been a ton of carries to go around for Ohio State so far this season, so Henderson will need to consistently find the end zone in order to be truly valuable in fantasy moving forward. He did so with four rushing touchdowns over the previous two contests, though the Buckeyes might face one of their toughest defensive opponents of the season during next week's home game against Iowa.

Quinshon Judkins - Logs 54 rushing yards Week 5Judkins accrued 11 carries for 54 yards and hauled in all two targets for 17 yards during Saturday's 38-7 victory against Michigan State.
ImpactJudkins came back down to earth after totaling 281 rushing yards over the previous two contests. The 219-pound junior still led the Buckeyes in carries ahead of fellow star running back TreVeyon Henderson (seven) and true freshman James Peoples (10). Judkins has definitely been the most consistent ball-carrier among this group, and this was actually his first game without a touchdown this season. With a limited number of carries to go around, Judkins and the Buckeyes' other running backs will likely need to rely on touchdowns to buoy their fantasy value week-to-week. Next Saturday's home matchup against a tough defensive squad in Iowa will likely be one of their toughest challenges this season.

Jeremiah Smith - Stars in Big Ten openerSmith gathered in 5 of 6 targets for 83 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-7 victory over Michigan State.
ImpactSmith has been one of college football's best true freshmen on either side of the ball so far this season, and he continued to star in the Buckeyes' conference opener. The 6-foot-3 wideout went untouched on an end-around midway through the second quarter for the first rushing score of his career. He then made two highlight receptions on the Buckeyes' next offensive series, including an acrobatic, one-handed 27-yard reception before hauling in a 17-yard score on another one-handed grab three plays later. Smith has seen fewer targets than senior slot receiver Emeka Egbuka recently, as the latter logged 10 targets against the Spartans. Ohio State's high-scoring offense combined with Smith's stark talent will still make him extremely productive moving forward into Big Ten play. Though, next week's home game against Iowa will pose a much tougher defensive opponent.

Will Howard - Stays in after hard hitHoward was 21-for-31 passing for 244 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 38-7 victory over Michigan State. He also had six rushes for 14 yards with one tou...
ImpactHoward took a hard hit late in the first half that briefly knocked him out of the game. But, he was able to return for the start of the second half and take the game home before turning over the reins to Devin Brown at the start of the fourth quarter. Howard made some big plays late in the third quarter with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Emeka Egbuka on 4th-and-5 followed by a six-yard touchdown run to cap off his final offensive series. Through four games, the Kansas State transfer has completed 68.6 percent of passes for 1,039 yards and 8 touchdowns to two interceptions, and he's tacked on three rushing touchdowns across 14 carries. Howard will remain the starting quarterback of one of the nation's highest powered offenses moving forward.
