Tristan Gebbia - Nearing full recovery Gebbia (hamstring) has been practicing without any limitations during fall camp, the first time since tearing his hamstring in early December, Carter Bahns of 247Sports reports.

Impact Gebbia is starting to regain his confidence as he finally feels fully healthy again and is eager to reclaim the starting role that he lost to injury last year. The redshirt senior isn't quite back to 100 percent just yet but the team expects him to be ready to go by the time the season opener rolls around Sept. 4. He remains in a battle with Sam Noyer for the top job but is expected to retain his starting role for Week 1 assuming he gets full clearance to play.

Sam Noyer - In heat of QB battle Noyer was first to lead the starting offense in live drills Wednesday but ceded the initial reps Thursday to Tristan Gebbia, T.J. Mathewson of Rivals reports.

Impact Noyer is in the midst of a two-way quarterback battle with Gebbia that doesn't appear to have a clear leader in the clubhouse at this point. Things should begin to sort themselves out in the next week or so with the opener against Purdue coming up on two weeks away.

John Dunmore - Transfers to Oregon State Dunmore has transferred from Penn State to Oregon State.

Impact Dunmore didn't see the field in his two seasons with the Nittany Lions and elected to join the transfer portal last October. He's found a new home at Oregon State and should be eligible to suit up immediately for the Beavers following the NCAA's new one-time transfer rule.

Impact Gebbia was initially expected to be healthy from hamstring surgery last December in time for the start of fall camp. Impact The junior tight end picked up the injury while running routes earlier in the summer, and his recovery will extend into preseason camp. Quitoriano caught 14 of 21 targets for 185 yards and a touchdown in six games last season and is expected to open the season as Oregon State's No. 1 tight end, assuming he's recovered from the injury.
