Impact Gadsden now has two-straight 100-yard games. After a stretch of just 16 targets over three weeks, he's now seen 21 total in the past two games. Unsurprisingly, that has coincided with better performances from quarterback Kyle McCord. Gadsden will look to keep it up next week against UConn, where he should have every opportunity to continue to dominate as a receiver.

Absurd catch highlights big day Gadsden logged eight receptions (on 12 targets) for 102 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 37-31 defeat to Boston College.

Impact Gadsden proved why he's one of the best tight ends in the nation against Boston College. His stat-line was phenomenal, but his preposterous one-handed backhand touchdown catch was even more impressive. Strangely, this was just the third game all season where he's seen double-digit targets. On a week to week basis, Gadsden has either been extremely quiet or poured on the production.

Impact Gadsden has been bottled up for two straight weeks now. His four targets were his lowest on the season. The tight end is coming off an injury, so it's possible the Orange didn't involve him in the game-plan all that much intentionally. Still, he'll look to bounce back next weekend in what should be an advantageous matchup against Boston College.

Impact Gadsden was limited in Syracuse's rough loss to the Panthers. The tight end was banged up slightly in the game, which likely limited his impact. He's good to go for next week, and will remain one of Kyle McCord's favorite targets moving forward.

Solid outing in win Gadsden caught 6 of 7 targets for 74 yards during Saturday's 24-17 win over North Carolina State.

Impact Gadsden had a very respectable outing against NC State, and it's good to see the tight end have a solid showing, rather than exclusively a dominant game or a silent one. Gadsden's targets have been all over the place, but he still hasn't logged fewer than six in a game. Syracuse will repeatedly try to throw him the ball, and more often than not, the star tight end will reward them. He'll look to build on this performance in a big game against undefeated Pittsburgh next week.

Huge day through the air Gadsden hauled in 10 of 14 targets for 142 yards during Friday's 44-41 overtime victory against UNLV.

Impact After two straight quiet outings, Gadsden reminded onlookers why he's one of the top tight ends in the nation. His 142 yards were easily a season-high, as were his 10 catches and 14 targets. Gadsden is always heavily targeted in this offense; it's a matter of whether the tight end capitalizes. He certainly did against the Runnin' Rebels, and he'll look to stack good performances next week against a suspect NC State defense.

Limited once again Gadsden logged one reception (on seven targets) for four yards during Saturday's 42-14 victory against Holy Cross.

Impact Gadsden was held in check for the second straight week, as Holy Cross managed to contain him to one grab. He was still heavily involved in the offense, as he was targeted seven times, but strangely enough FCS Holy Cross managed to shut down the star-pass-catcher. He'll look to bounce back on Friday night against UNLV.

Held in check vs. Stanford Gadsden recorded two receptions (on five targets) for 12 yards during Friday's 26-24 loss to Stanford.

Impact Credit Stanford for knowing it had to stop the star tight end and executing that game plan extremely well. Syracuse's passing offense still had a big day, but Gadsden wasn't a part of that in the slightest. He'll look to bounce back in an extremely enticing Week 5 matchup with Holy Cross.

Impact Barely multiple games into Syracuse's 2023 season, Gadsden suffered a foot injury that immediately ended his campaign. It took more than 10 months since the injury for him to fully recover. Before it, Gadsden had been one of college football's most promising tight ends after logging 61 receptions for 969 yards and six touchdowns during 2022. Despite losing some luster, he still enters 2024 as a promising option at the tight end position. Even with a small sample of the 2023 season, Gadsden played well for how few opportunities he got, recording seven catches for 67 yards and one TD.

It's also worth noting that despite his gaudy receiving numbers, Gadsden has also bulked up to help with his in-line play and run blocking.
