The sophomore's seen an uptick in work recently, logging 20 carries for 87 yards in his last two games -- Allen had just 11 carries for 51 yards in his previous five contests.

Impact After failing to see any game action last season, Allen surprisingly led the Falcons in both rushing attempts and yards Saturday, carrying Dylan Carson, the presumed starter, 16-to-7. While it's difficult to project who'll wind up leading the Air Force backfield in a given week, the 5-foot-11 Allen seems to have at least earned himself a role going forward.
