However, he warmed up ahead of Saturday's matchup and will reclaim his starting job under center. The Panthers enter Saturday's matchup as heavy favorites, so it's possible that Slovis is pulled late in the game if the team gets a considerable lead.

Impact Wayne's absence is a huge loss for Pittsburgh as he has been lighting it up over the last three games. The senior has recorded at least 80 yards in each outing and his production will be hard to replace. With Wayne out Pittsburgh may throw more targets towards Bub Means and Konata Mumpfield.
