TJ Sheffield - Full participant in fall scrimmage Purdue coach Jeff Brohm said that Sheffield (ankle) was able to participate without any restrictions during the team's scrimmage Saturday, D.J. Fezler of SI.com reports. Impact Sheffield sat out this spring while recovering from an ankle injury suffered during the second half of Purdue's win over Tennessee in the Music City Bowl. The junior receiver caught 36 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns in 2021, which ranks him second in terms of returning receiving production for the Boilermakers behind Broc Thompson. These two, along with Iowa transfer Tyrone Tracy, figure to round Purdue's top-three receiving threats heading into the 2022 campaign.
