Reggie Love III - Tallies 66 yards in loss Love recorded 10 rushes for 66 yards and one touchdown and gathered in their only target for negative three yards during Saturday's 38-21 loss against Oregon State.

Impact Love logged his second touchdown of the season with a two-yard score to begin the fourth quarter. He also got into the end zone before No. 1 running back Devin Mockobee, who logged 16 carries for 168 yards and a three-yard touchdown. Love has now logged 10 carries in each of the past two games, and he'll likely continue to serve as the thunder to Mockobee's lighting moving forward this season. They'll have a tough test this coming Saturday agianst Nebraska.

Max Klare - Catches TD in loss Klare tallied two receptions (on five targets) for 46 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-21 loss to Oregon State.

Impact Klare once again served as the safety blanket for quarterback Hudson Card, who went 7-for-17 passing for 56 yards and one touchdown to one interception. The sophomore tight end was the Boilermakers' only player to log more than three targets. Klare has easily been the team's most productive pass-catcher through three games, logging 10 catches (on 17 targets) for 153 yards and two touchdowns. He'll likely need to buoy help buoy this passing game against yet another tough defense in Nebraska this coming Saturday.

Hudson Card - Logs 56 passing yards in loss Card was 7-for-17 passing for 56 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 38-21 loss against Oregon State. He also had three rushes for 33 yards.

Impact Card tossed his third interception of the season, giving up a pick-six on his first passing attempt Saturday. The senior quarterback kept the game close in the first half with a 33-yard touchdown pass to tight end Max Klare midway through the second quarter. But, he still fnished with easily his worst stat line since becoming the Boilermakers' starter at the start of last season, as the team instead relied upon the rushing game with Devin Mockobee and Reggie Love logging 26 combined carries for 234 yards and two touchdowns. Since his near-flawless season-opener against Indiana State, Card has gone 18-for-41 passing for 180 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions over back-to-back games versus Notre Dame and Oregon State. The opposing slate won't get much easier during this coming Saturday's home game against Nebraska.

Devin Mockobee - Logs 168 yards on the ground Week 4 Mockobee accrued 16 carries for 168 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-21 loss against Oregon State.

Impact Mockobee carried the ball on four consecutive plays to open the game before fumbling at Oregon State's 11-yard line. The junior running back recovered with a season-high in rushing yards and carries, including three rushes of 26 or more yards. Mockobee also logged his first touchdown of the season with a three-yard rushing score midway through the fourth quarter. Yet, he still split duties of the backfield with Illinois transfer Regge Love, who tallied 10 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown as well. Purdue's offense has struggled mightily since rattling off 49 points in the seaosn opener against Indiana State. Both the rushing and the passing game will likely continue to struggle this coming Saturday against Nebraska, which has been one of the Big Ten's best defenses so far this season.

Impact Edrine, who sat out during Saturday's 38-21 loss against the Beavers, could be out for 3-4 more weeks according to head coach Ryan Walters. The 6-foot-3 junior wideout, who recorded five catches for 77 yards across the Boilermakers first two contests is one of Purdue's primary pass-catching options. A 3-4-week injury timetable sets Edrine up for a return against Illinois on Oct. 12, at the earliest, which would be a big loss for the team as they start to navigate Big Ten play.

Impact Klare was Purdue's only pass-catcher to log more than two catches or three targets against the Fightin Irish. Meanwhile, second-year starting quarterback Hudson Card had one of the worst outings of his career, going 11-for-24 passing for one touchdown and two interceptions. Through two games, Klare has logged eight catches (on 12 targets) for 107 yards and a score. The sophomore tight end looks like he should be one of Card's top targets moving forward, though he likely won't pose as much of a vertical passing threat as wideouts Jahmal Edrine, De'Nylon Morrissette and others.

The junior quarterback is expected to be the top running back for the Boilermakers after totaling 1,775 rushing yards over the past two seasons. However, he split carries Saturday with Illinois transfer Reggie Love, who logged 10 rushes for 61 yards. Mockobee and Love look like they'll probably be set for a lightning-and-thunder duo out of the backfield this season, so Purdue's rushing game will have to make some significant strides if either running back is going to have much fantasy value during upcoming conference play. The Boilermakers will look to bounce back next Saturday against an Oregon State defense that just gave up 240 rushing yards versus Oregon in Week 3.

The Boilermakers will look to bounce back against next Saturday against an Oregon State squad that gave up 240 rushing yards Week 3 versus Oregon.

The senior quarterback was hounded all game by Notre Dame's defense, as he was sacked four times for a loss of 40 yards. The Boilermakers lost almost every significant receiver from last year's squad, and, while the season opener offered some worthwhile optimism, it looks like Purdue could be in store for a tough season of turnover. The fact that Card was never removed from Saturday's loss should provide some confidence that he'll reamin the starting quarterback so long as he's healthy. He and the rest of the offense should have a chance to bounce back this coming Saturday at Oregon State, which just lost 49-14 at home against Oregon in Week 3.
