Mabrey Mettauer - Makes career debut in blowout winMettauer completed one pass for two yards during Saturday's 52-6 victory over Purdue.
ImpactMettauer took over for one offensive series late in this explosive win for the Badgers offense. Braedyn Locke has take over as the team's starting quarterback after Tyler Van Dyke went down with a torn ACL against Alabama in Week 3. The redshirt junior had a career day with 359 passing yards and three touchdowns to two interceptions Saturday to get the Badgers back above .500. While the team's offense has struggled as of late, it's unlikely that the team will make the change to a true freshman in Mettauer anytime soon.

Trech Kekahuna - Explodes in second half SaturdayKekahuna logged six receptions (on eight targets) for 134 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 52-6 victory over Purdue.
ImpactKekahuna broke out with by far the best outing of his career while facing the Boilermakers' dreadful defense. The redshirt freshman first scored early in the third quarter when he caught an intermediate pass over the middle of the field before breaking away for a 69-yard touchdown. The 5-foot-10 speedster flashed his playmaking ability again when he ran and out-and-up for a 25-yard touchdown on Wisconsin's next offensive series. Kekahuna has had a very quiet start to the year since flashing in last year's bowl win against LSU. But, he seemed to take on a bigger role Week 6 after starting slot receiver Will Pauling briefly exited with a lower-body injury in the first half. Assuming Pauling is fully healthy, it will be worth monitoring if Kekahuna sees the same target share during this coming Saturday's road game at Rutgers.

Vinny Anthony II - Catches another long TD in Week 6Anthony gathered in two of four targets for 66 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 52-6 victory against Purdue.
ImpactAnthony once again flashed as a much-needed vertical threat for the Badgers for the second week in a row. After hauling in a 63-yard score in last week's loss at USC, the junior wideout broke away for a 52-yard touchdown after he caught a pass around midfield of the 35-yard line in the first quarter. Anthony has still totaled just five catches on eight targets over the past two weeks, so his fantasy value will be dependent on his YAC and scoring abilities.

Tawee Walker - Flourishes as RB1 against PurdueWalker notched 19 rushes for 94 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 52-6 win versus Purdue.
ImpactWalker shouldered the workload for the Badgers' ground game with season-highs in carries and touchdowns against Purdue. This included rushing scores of 12, one and 17 yards. The Oklahoma transfer had been splitting carries with sixth-year senior Chez Mellusi through the first four games this season. But, Mellusi stepped away from the program this week to continue rehabbing from lingering issues that prevented him playing to his own expectations, according to Colten Bartholomew of Badger Extra. Rather than establish a new 1-2 duo, the Badgers seem set to ride Walker as a true RB1, as redshirt junior Cade Yacamelli and true freshmen Darrion Dupree and Dillin Jones logged five, seven and seven carries, respectively. Expect Walker to keep playing as the Badgers' new RB1 during this coming Saturday's road matchup against a stout Rutgers defense.

Braedyn Locke - Lights up Purdue in winLocke was 20-for-31 passing for 359 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 52-6 victory against Purdue.
ImpactLocke bounced back after last week's second-half collapse against USC with a career-best outing against a reeling Purdue squad. The redshirt junior was choppy to start with two interceptions in the first half. But, he settled in and started connecting with the Badgers' most-explosive playmakers, first finding wideout Vinny Anthony over the middle of the field for a runaway 52-yard touchdown. Locke then connected on touchdowns passes of 69 and 25 yards to sophomore Trech Kekahuna in the second half. The signal-caller finished with the seventh-most single-game passing yards in Wisconsin history. However, this was still against probably the worst team in the Big Ten this season. He'll face a much stiffer defense during next week's road game at Rutgers.
