Texas' pregame warmups will shed light on which quarterback is repping with the first-team offense but there is a distinct possibility Ewers returns Saturday just two weeks after suffering a clavicle injury.

Will dress for game Coach Steve Sarkisian said that Ewers (collarbone) will travel and dress for Saturday's game against Texas Tech, Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman reports.

Impact Coach Sarkisian declined to comment on who would end up getting the start against the Red Raiders, however. Ewers was initially given a four-to-six week recovery period after he suffered a clavicle sprain in a Sept. 10 loss to Alabama. Ewers was able to get some practice in this week and will at least be an option for Saturday's game.

Manages to practice Monday Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said that Ewers was able to practice Monday, Chip Brown of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Sarkisian added that fellow signal-callers Hudson Card and Maalik Murphy were also able to participate Monday, saying, "They all practiced today, which is positive ... Last Monday, they didn't all practice." Ewers' ability to work in alongside the Longhorns' other quarterbacks is a good sign for his eventual availability this season, though it still appears likely that he will be sidelined for at least three more weeks while recovering from an SC sprain. In the meantime, Card, who completed 15 of his 23 passes for 161 yards and one touchdown this past Saturday against Texas-San Antonia, should continue to serve as the Longhorns' starting quarterback.
