Impact Ewers is "nearly 70-percent" and the Longhorns' coaching staff has stated that it is their priority to ensure that he is able to appear against Oklahoma in Week 7. The 6-foot-2 junior came into the season a Heisman Trophy candidate and looked incredible through his first three outings, throwing for 691 yards (58-of-79), eight touchdowns and two interceptions.
