Impact Despite no longer being part of a Power Four team, Luke will transfer to an FBS program. He has Elijah Gilliam and Bryson Donelson to beat out for primary carries. Luke is at least somewhat proven, having logged 100 rushing yards for Arizona during 2022 and 2023. 2024 was Luke's only year without triple-digit yardage, resulting in an unfortunate season that he will look to make an anomaly with help from 2025.

Impact Luke will enter the transfer portal after three seasons with Arizona. The junior running back was only active for four games before utilizing his redshirt. He totaled four carries for 13 yards while reeling in six receptions for 52 yards across four appearances.

Impact Luke has played in four games this season, meaning he won't see the field again if he goes through with his redshirt. The junior tailback will preserve an additional year of eligibility after logging just three carries through four games. He'll look to become more involved in the running back rotation - Arizona's or otherwise - next fall.

Scores in win Luke logged 10 rushes for 71 yards and one touchdown and caught their only target for 17 yards during Saturday's 44-6 victory against Washington State.

Impact For the first time this season, Luke finished with double-digit carries and finished with a season-high 71 yards, leading the team. The sophomore running back broke loose on a 40-yard touchdown run during the opening minutes of the second quarter. He will hope this performance has earned him more opportunities for the Wildcats' game against Oregon State after the bye week.

Undergoes surgery Luke underwent surgery for an apparent leg injury Thursday, Jason Scheer of WildcatAuthority.com reports.

Impact Luke was seen on the sidelines with crutches and a walking boot during part of last Saturday's game against North Dakota State. It's unclear what sort of injury the he suffered, but after undergoing surgery, it appears the true freshman will be sidelined for an extended period of time, if not the remainder of the year.
