Trell Harris - Hits paydirt in openerHarris hauled in all two targets for 38 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 34-13 win versus Richmond.
ImpactHarris was only targeted twice, but parlaying that into nearly 40 yards and a score is pretty impressive, even against Richmond. With that being said, he was still second fiddle to top wideout Malachi Fields, and should continue to be throughout the fall. If Harris can keep finding ways to turn limited looks into production, he could certainly carry some value.

Malachi Fields - Hits 100-yard markFields notched five receptions (on six targets) for 100 yards during Saturday's 34-13 victory against Richmond.
ImpactFields was Virginia's top receiver in the opener, leading the wideouts in targets and production. That bodes well for his future as the top pass-catcher in this offense; Fields should continue to lead the way for the Cavaliers as the competition level increases.

Jack Griese - Big reception in Week 1Griese tallied five carries for 12 yards and reeled in their only target for 57 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 34-13 win against Richmond.
ImpactGriese's day wouldn't've been all that notable had he not reeled in a 57-yard catch. The tailback should be a rotational piece for Virginia moving forward, as he was outpaced in touches by both Kobe Pace and Xavier Brown.

Xavier Brown - Notches eight carriesBrown tallied eight rushes for 44 yards during Saturday's 34-13 victory over Richmond.
ImpactBrown was second-fiddle to Kobe Pace in carries and yards for the Cavaliers' tailbacks, but he still got a decent share of the workload in the backfield. Pace should continue to lead the way, but Brown will be involved as his top backup. It's clear the Virginia staff wants to get him touches as well.
