Impact It's a tough blow for Owens, who was coming off a solid campaign as a true freshman in 2023. The 6-foot running back put up 743 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns for the Aggies last season and will hope to make a quick recovery to prepare for the 2025 season.

Impact Owens suffered the injury during Saturday's practice and was set to receive an MRI on Sunday. The sophomore running back put together a solid season for the Aggies in 2023, running for 385 yards and three scores on 101 attempts as a true freshman. The severity of the injury is thus far unknown, but it puts his availability to start the 2024 season into question.
