Shameen Jones - No catches Saturday Jones was targeted twice but was unable to record a catch in the 61-14 win over Temple on Saturday.
Impact The senior receiver was expected to be the second best wideout on this team but his disappearing act against Temple is very concerning. On the bright-side no other receiver stepped up to fill the void Jones was leaving on the field so he should still be the second option for the Scarlet Knights in the passing game.

Aron Cruickshank - Minimal involvement in opener Cruickshank caught three passes for 24 yards and had one rush for 14 yards in the 61-14 win over Temple on Saturday.
Impact The junior didn't do much in the receiving game but did look explosive on his 14 yard run. The receiver may end up getting some big plays designed from creative offensive play-caller Sean Gleeson.

Bo Melton - Top receiver in opener Melton hauled in six receptions for 59 yards and took one carry for negative seven yards in the 61-14 win over Temple on Saturday.
Impact Melton once again looks to be the top receiver on a Rutgers team that may struggle throwing the ball this season. The senior is probably the only receiver worth looking at from the Scarlet Knights.

Isaih Pacheco - Ineffective in win Pacheco rushed the ball 15 times for 48 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's 61-14 win over Temple. He also had one catch for two yards.
Impact The junior only averaged 3.2 yards per carry and didn't look all that explosive. Its clear that the running back room belongs to Pacheco but its a little concerning to see quarterback Noah Vedral look like the teams best rusher as he may steal touchdown opportunities from Pacheco later on this season.

Noah Vedral - Not asked to do too much Vedral completed 15 of 27 passes for 138 yards and one touchdown in the 61-14 win over Temple on Saturday. He also had eight carries for 58 yards.
Impact The Rutgers quarterback didn't seem to have improved his passing much from his nine touchdown, eight interception season a year ago. The team was happy to rely on the rushing game and not ask Vedral to do too much. The senior might struggle if called upon to do more against better opponents.
