ImpactFowler-Nicolosi was claled upon early in the second quarter to replace the injured Clay Millen, and he did his best to lead the Rams offense. In his first ever collegiate appearance, the freshman did not make any horrible mistakes, but he did not lead Colorado State to many touchdowns either.

ImpactMillen was a perfect 7-for-7 to start the game against Sacramento State, but had an early departure in the second quarter due to an apparent injury. The quarterback had been sacked 23 times heading into the game, and his team will need to better protect him if he is healthy enough to return to the field Friday to face Nevada.
