Impact Boise State was testing out their new quarterbacks after their old starter, Hank Bachmeier, left the team, and Vidlak was the second option against the Aztecs. He had an opportunity to play in the second quarter after starter Taylen Green struggled in the first quarter. While Vidlak did not see action in the second half, he looked strong in his short time on the field.
