Out for remainder of 2024 Brown (leg) is out for the remainder of Rutgers' 2024 season, Brian Fonseca of NJ.com reports.

Impact Brown will finish his 2024 season with 40 carries for 201 yards and three touchdowns. He also logged a 34-yard touchdown reception during Week 1 of Rutgers' 2024 season. Because Brown has already played five games this season, he cannot redshirt it, leaving him with only one year of collegiate eligibility going into 2025.

Heads to locker room Brown went back to the locker room during Saturday's game against Wisconsin after sustaining what appears to be a right leg injury, per the Big Ten Network Broadcast.

Impact Brown looked to be in significant pain following the incident and needed to be helped off the field and into the locker room. Considering the lopsided score it would be surprising to see Brown retake the field. If he's unable to return, his next chance to play would come Oct. 19 against UCLA.

Impact Brown didn't make any impact after totaling three touchdowns over the previous two games. The junior looked like he could be in line for a true RB2 role with 28 carries through his first two games. But, he's now accrued just eight rushing attempts across the past two games. Unless the Scarlet Knights can get out to a big lead, then it looks like star senior running back Kyle Monangai will continue to log the vast majoriy of rushing attempts for the team going forward.

Scores another touchdown Week 5 Brown had five rushes for 44 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 21-18 win versus Washington.

Impact Brown made one of the critical plays of the game when he ran over a Huskies defensive back on a 37-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. While he logged a season-low in carries, the junior was still the only running back to log a carry behind bell-cow starter Kyle Monangai, who rushed 25 times for 132 yards and another touchdown. Brown logged exactly 14 carries in both his other two appearances against Howard in Week 1 and Virginia Tech in Week 4. He'll look to get more carries during this coming week's road matchup at Nebraska, though this could be the toughest rushing defense that Rutgers faces this season.

So long as he remains healthy, Brown should continue to see a healthy workload as the RB2 in what is an extremely run-heavy Rutgers offense. The Scarlet Knights will look to keep things rolling on the ground during this Friday's matchup against Washington.

With the Scarlet Knights slated to employ a very run-heavy offense this season, Brown should get a solid number of carries and scoring opportunities moving forward. Though, unless Monangai misses time with injury at any point, Brown likely won't see enough consistent usage to warrant significant fantasy attention moving forward.
