Bad day against Texas A&M Marucci went 6-for-19 for 80 yards against Texas A&M on Saturday.

Impact Yes, this game was always going to be a rough one for New Mexico's Aggies against A&M's Aggies. Even so, Marucci didn't even complete one-third of his passes, and Brandon Nunez saw some time again. Both have been bad, but it will be interesting to see who plays more against MTSU next week.

Throws TD, two INTs Marucci went 10-for-20 for 129 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions against WKU on Saturday. He also ran eight times for 20 yards.

Impact Marucci retook the starting role for the Aggies, and he was bad. That makes sense, because he has been bad every time he's taken the field save for against New Mexico's terrible defense. The only thing, though, is that backup Brandon Nunez appeared in this game and was somehow way worse. Marucci is the starter by default.

Impact Marucci entered in relief last week and was okay, and he'll retake the reins under center from Brandon Nunez on Saturday. This situation is still rather fluid and far from secure for Marucci in the starting role.

Impact Brandon Nunez got the start, but he was so bad Marucci got back in the action, While Marucci himself was removed from the starter role previously, the fact he got the call here seems to indicate he's the favorite to start next week against WKU.

Impact Marucci was given a chance to start due to Parker Awad struggling in the role. He's failed to complete over half his passes in any of his three starts and has more turnovers than touchdowns as a starter. Awad saw time in this one, so Marucci's opportunity may be over.

Impact This remains a team built around running the ball and its backs. Marucci's passing touchdown was a quick dump off to running back Mike Washington who turned it into a 25-yard score. Marucci is bad at throwing the ball, but he's viable on the ground, and that's more than former starter Parker Awad could say.

Impact Marucci got a win in his first career start filling in for an injured Mitch Griffis however the numbers weren't stellar. Griffis hasn't been overly stellar this season leaving a chance that Marucci could earn some more playing time had he stepped in and had a big day. However Marucci did not do a great job at taking care of the football and was not very efficient in his starting debut.
