Impact Bangura failed to establish himself with the Golden Gophers after breaking out with Ohio, tallying just four carries for 12 yards with Minnesota. Across his last two seasons with the Bobcats, the 6-foot redshirt junior logged 400 carries for 1,889 yards and 20 touchdowns, adding on 45 receptions for 385 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Bangura's past production is sure to afford him opportunities in the portal after he failed to catch on with Minnesota.
