Jake Bailey - Performing well in preseason Bailey has been showing out at camp this offseason, Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Bailey spent the 2021 season with Rice, compiling a team-leading 56 receptions for 714 yards and two touchdowns. The 5-foot-10 wideout has continuously made plays in preseason that have impressed coaches, and he is likely to have a large role with the Mustangs this fall.

Camar Wheaton - Spotted practicing Wheaton (knee) was seen practicing following missing all of last season with a meniscus injury, Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Impact Wheaton never got the chance to make an impact with Alabama. He is now fully healthy and should be a factor right away in 2022 with SMU. Wheaton and Tre Siggers should handle most of the backfield work when the season begins on Sept. 3 against North Texas.
