Lincoln Sefcik - Missing out on spring ball Sefcik has missed part or all of spring practice due to injury, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.
Impact Sefcik is coming off of a freshman campaign where he amassed 32 grabs for 218 yards and five touchdowns He seems a likely candidate to be heavily involved as a sophomore as well. Unfortunately, his start to the campaign is a bit slowed by injury and it's unclear if or when he will make another appearance this spring. Either way, there's no indication that the injury is considered serious.

Brandon Crum - Missing out on spring action Crum has missed at least a part, if not all, of spring ball due to injury, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.
Impact Crum is one of the numerous offensive players who has been sidelined for the Jaguars this spring, so things will presumably look a lot different this fall when the team takes the field. Damarcus Thomas is also coming off of a good showing in spring, so it remains to be seen what the plans are at tight end in 2022. Either way, Crum has amassed no more than nine catches and hasn't crossed 100 receiving yards during his first three seasons, so there isn't much to write home about here from a fantasy standpoint.

Bryan Hill - Sitting out spring Hill hasn't taken part in some or all of the team's spring practices due to injury, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.
Impact Hill carved out a role on offense for the Jaguars last season, finishing the year with 88 carries for 332 yards and three touchdowns. With Kareem Walker out of the picture, the sophomore should have a shot to land a larger role in 2022, though there is new competition in former Florida State running back La'Damian Webb (foot), who is also missing out on a good portion of spring ball due to injury.

AJ Phillips - Missing spring practice Phillips hasn't taken part in some or all of spring practice due to injury, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.
Impact Phillips toted the rock just 25 times for 76 yards last season and has plenty of competition to handle the rock again this year. His spring injury certainly doesn't help his cause, though there seem to be injuries to a number of his backfield mates during spring ball.

DaMarcus Thomas - Strong showing in scrimmage Thomas had a big first scrimmage with the Jaguars on Saturday, racking up five catches for 62 yards and three touchdowns, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.
Impact Thomas transferred to South Alabama from Ole Miss during the offseason and wasted no time putting on a show in his first public competitive setting. He could be a candidate for immediate playing time in 2022 after posting just one grab for six yards in his lone showing for the Rebels. Thomas is listed at just 240 pounds on the spring roster, so there could be room for him to work more split out this season than in years past.

Carter Bradley - Splitting first-team work Bradley split first-team reps with Demson Trotter in the team's first scrimmage Saturday, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.
Impact Bradley spent his first four seasons, including one redshirt campaign, at Toledo and joins the Jaguars with two years of eligibility remaining following the COVID-19 -interrupted 2020 season. Both he and Trotter have plenty of experience under center, so this battle for the starting job under center could continue into the fall.

Impact Lacy is coming off a season in which he grabbed 41 passes for 291 yards. Both of South Alabama's top receivers are dealing with injuries, but will hope to be 100 percent in time for Week 1.

Impact Trotter may have to duke it out with Bradley into the fall for the starting gig in 2022. the spot is open with Jake Bentley moving on and Trotter has more experience in the offense, seeing action in each of the last three seasons, but Bradley also has some experience under his belt while at Toledo and remains in the mix.
