ImpactGore fell victim to a miserable offensive day for the Golden Eagles, as the team accounted for just 16 yards in the first half while only putting up three points on the day. While he was shut down on the ground, Gore led Southern Miss in receiving yards while tying for the team high in receptions. Averaging a career-low 3.8 yards per carry with four games under 50 rush yards, Gore should be considered no more than a boom-or-bust option given USM's offensive issues.
