Impact Irvin had been seeing some solid snap totals, and he even outproduced Micah Ford against Miami. However, Irvin's offensive touches were rather limited, as Stanford was forced to abandon the run early in the second half as the game started to get away. He'll look to bounce back next Saturday against Georgia Tech, but that's a matchup against another tough defense.

Micah Ford - Totals 110 scrimmage yards Ford had 11 rushes for 76 yards during Saturday's 35-7 loss to Duke.

Impact Ford was easily the most explosive player for Stanford in an otherwise moribund game for the offense. He averaged 6.9 yards per rushing attempt, while the Cardinal managed just 3.3 yards per carry overall. As the game got away from Stanford, it abandoned the run, though, and the team got away from the only thing actually working.
