Transferring, won't play in bowl Rodermaker (concussion) announced Monday that he plans to enter the transfer portal and won't be playing in the Orange Bowl versus Georgia, Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.com reports. Impact Rodemaker took over as the team's starting quarterback late in the year once Jordan Travis went down with a season-ending ankle injury but couldn't stay healthy himself after suffering a concussion in the regular season finale. He had the chance to lead the offense in their bowl game and take some momentum into 2024 as an option to start next season but will opt to head elsewhere with the team openly recruiting quarterbacks out of the portal. Rodemaker will have two years of eligibility remaining and will look to land a full-time starting gig for the first time in his career. Brock Glenn will lead the offense in the Orange Bowl versus Georgia on Dec. 30.
