Impact Per Johnson, Curtis was spotted with his arm in a brace during TCU's warmups. The senior had logged 77 yards and a touchdown on seven grabs this season. With Curtis out, expect Drake Dabney to see a larger role as the Horned Frogs' top tight end.

Impact Wright was previously listed as questionable after returning to practice earlier in the week, but the senior receiver was once again unable to play Saturday. Wright has yet to play a game for the Horned Frogs in 2024 after suffering an undisclosed injury in fall camp, though the coaching staff has indicated that they expect him to return soon. Wright's next opportunity to return will come against Kansas on Saturday.

Impact Williams had a relatively quiet day by his normal standards as teammate Jack Bech exploded for eight catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns. It looks like Bech is the number one receiver in the rotation, but Williams has the kind of talent which could result in a huge game in any single week. TCU's QB Josh Hoover struggled with four turnovers against SMU, so that's a storyline worth watching. TCU will play at Kansas next week.

Impact McAlister, a Boise State transfer, recorded his first 100-yard receiving game with the Horned Frogs. He had three 100-yard receiving games with the Broncos in the 2023 season, so he's capable of stringing together big games. His biggest challenge is going to be Jack Bech and Savion Williams who are stud receivers ahead of him on the depth chart. TCU will play at Kansas next week.

Impact Bech has emerged as TCU's top receiver with his third 100-yard receiving game of the season. QB Josh Hoover struggled with four total turnovers at SMU which resulted in Bech receiving his second straight outing with double-digit targets. Bech is in the midst of a breakout season with 25 catches (on 32 targets) for 516 yards and four touchdowns. He should be started in all fantasy formats when TCU plays at Kansas next week.

Trey Sanders - Sees game action against SMU Sanders had three carries for nine yards and hauled in 0 of 1 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 66-42 defeat versus Southern Methodist.

Impact Sanders returned from an undisclosed injury with three carries and a target in the loss at SMU. Cam Cook has been a busy back for TCU to start the season, so it will be interesting to see if Sanders can share in some of that workload moving forward. TCU will play at Kansas next week.

That only added to QB Josh Hoover's problem with turnovers as the signal caller had four of his own. Cook has double-digit carries in every game this year and should be a reliable option at Kansas next week.
