ImpactHejny was dressed and went through warmups prior to the game but ended up being unable to play. He will look to make his return to the field next week versus Kansas.

ImpactWilliams had a relatively quiet day by his normal standards as teammate Jack Bech exploded for eight catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns. It looks like Bech is the number one receiver in the rotation, but Williams has the kind of talent which could result in a huge game in any single week. TCU's QB Josh Hoover struggled with four turnovers against SMU, so that's a storyline worth watching. TCU will play at Kansas next week.

ImpactMcAlister, a Boise State transfer, recorded his first 100-yard receiving game with the Horned Frogs. He had three 100-yard receiving games with the Broncos in the 2023 season, so he's capable of stringing together big games. His biggest challenge is going to be Jack Bech and Savion Williams who are stud receivers ahead of him on the depth chart. TCU will play at Kansas next week.
