Impact Ferguson logged his first touchdown of the season when he caught a nine-yard score just before the end of the first half. He also logged double-digit targets for the first time this season, and he finished with a team-high in this category ahead of wideout Evan Stewart (seven) and wideout Justius Lower (six). Meanwhile, usual WR1 Tez Johnson (shoulder) was ruled out pregame, which likely impacted the target shares for these other pass-catchers. Across his last three appearances, Ferguson has totaled 12 catches (on 25 targets) for 131 yards and a touchdown, which isn't overly impressive in terms of fantasy stats. He'll look to find the end zone once again during this coming Saturday's road game at Wisconsin.

Impact Oregon's head coach Dan Lanning attended a press conference and discussed Ferguson on Monday. Impact Ferguson recorded a game-long 62-yard reception on a long catch-and-run in the first half. The 6-foot-5 senior thus finished with more than 45 yards and more than three targets for the first time since Week 1. He also finished tied with wideout Traeshon Holden for the Ducks' second-most targets behind WR1 Tez Johnson (13). The passing game is still primarily working through Johnson and Holden, so Ferguson's fantasy value will likely be tied to YAC and short-yardage scoring chances going forward.

Impact Ferguson logged exactly three targets for the third game in a row. The 6-foot-5 senior looked primed for a significant role this season after his seven-catch, 87-yard performance Week 1. But, he's been significantly overshadowed by the Ducks' talented corps of wide receivers with Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden and Evan Stewart. Ferguson has also lost targets to backup tight ends Patrick Herbert and Kenyon Sadiq as of late, and he'll only be able to maintain significant fantasy value if he's able to take over the entire target share at tight end.

Impact Ferguson caught all three of his targets for the second week in a row. The 6-foot-5 senior has yet to find the end zone this season, but he's been one of the Ducks' top pass-catchers so far this season with 13 catches (15 targets) for 159 yards. His target share trails only top wideouts Tez Johnson (25) and Evan Stewart (16) through the first three games. Ferguson likely won't be as involved as his seven-catch performance Week 1, but he should remain a consistent piece of this passing offense moving forward. He'll look to log his first score of the season when Oregon next plays versus UCLA on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Three catches versus Boise State Ferguson hauled in all three targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 37-34 win over Boise State.

Impact Ferguson didn't make as big of an impact as his seven-catch performance Week 1. But he still wound up tied with wideout Tez Johnson for the Ducks' third-most targets behind Evan Stewart (seven) and Traeshon Holden (five) on Saturday. Ferguson and Johnson led the team in targets in the season opener with nine and 13, respectively. Oregon's offense has looked inconsistent with struggles in pass blocking and run protection through the first two weeks. With the team still trying to establish a rhythm, it's likely that a true No. 1 receiver will not emerge anytime soon for quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Nevertheless, it's a good bet to expect Ferguson to remain a significant piece of this passing game after logging 42 catches for 414 yards last season. He'll look to catch his first touchdown pass of the season this coming Saturday versus Oregon State.

Leading receiver in win Ferguson caught seven of nine targets for 87 yards during Saturday's 24-14 victory against Idaho.

Impact Ferguson immediately connected with new signal-caller Dillon Gabriel, who went 41-for-49 passing for 380 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot-5 senior tight end actually led the Ducks in receiving yards, and he trailed only top returning wideout Tez Johnson in terms of targets (13) and catches (12). The 5-foot-10 speedster was also on the receiving end of each of the Ducks' two passing touchdowns Saturday. While it's highly unlikely that Gabriel will need to pass the ball this much moving forward, Ferguson and Johnson should be considered the most reliable pass-catchers in what's expected to be one of the nation's most explosive offenses once again this season. It will be worth monitoring if these two continue serving as Oregon's top receivers versus Boise State in Week 2.
