Donovan Smith - Practices Tuesday Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire said Smith (undisclosed) practiced Tuesday, Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports.

Impact Smith was held out of the team's matchup against Oklahoma State due to an undisclosed injury, but he returned to practice Tuesday and has a shot of reclaiming his spot as the starting quarterback. Before being sidelined, he'd submitted back-to-back 300-yard passing games.
