Coy Eakin - Limited role in upset Eakin accrued two receptions (on three targets) for 32 yards during Saturday's 23-22 victory against Iowa State.

Impact Texas Tech pulled off a massive upset of the Cyclones and Eakin had a limited impact with a couple of catches. The receiver has had fewer than five catches in each of his last seven games. Teammates Josh Kelly and Caleb Douglas have been more often targeted by QB Behren Morton. Texas Tech will play Colorado next week.

Caleb Douglas - Five catches versus Iowa State Douglas gathered in all five targets for 35 yards during Saturday's 23-22 win versus Iowa State.

Impact Douglas recorded at least five catches in his fourth consecutive start. However, it was teammate Josh Kelly who emerged with a big game with eight catches (on 18 targets) for 127 yards and two touchdowns. While Douglas was gaining some traction as the top target, it appears that Kelly is still that guy in this offense. Douglas still has plenty of value for fantasy rosters as Texas Tech passes the ball more than the average team. Texas Tech will play Colorado next week.

Josh Kelly - Season-high 18 targets in win Kelly had eight receptions (on 18 targets) for 127 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 23-22 victory over Iowa State.

Impact Kelly had a monster performance with a season-high 18 targets. He has double-digit targets in six of nine games this year and clearly the number one target in the Texas Tech offense. While his yards per target shades towards the lower side, he sees enough volume to make it worth it for most fantasy rosters. He should be in line for another strong performance against Colorado next week.

Tahj Brooks - Game-winning TD at Iowa State Brooks logged 25 rushes for 122 yards and one touchdown and hauled in both of his targets for 10 yards during Saturday's 23-22 win versus Iowa State.

Impact Brooks' lone touchdown came on a direct snap late in the fourth quarter and was the game-winner against the undefeated Cyclones. No matter who the opponent is, Brooks has been effective with eight 100-yard rushing performances. With a strong game against Iowa State, he surpasses 1,000 yards rushing on the season and has over 4,000 yards in his career at Texas Tech. Brooks is one of the best backs in the conference and should have another strong performance against Colorado next week.

Behren Morton - Leads Red Raiders in upset win Morton was 21-for-40 passing for 237 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 23-22 victory over Iowa State. He also had eight rushes for six yards.

Impact Morton led the Red Raiders down the field when it counted as they went ahead late in the game to pull off the upset on the road. It wasn't his prettiest of stat lines, but it was his sixth game of the year with multiple touchdowns passes. It was also encouraging to see Morton play the entire game after leaving the TCU tilt with a shoulder injury. On the season, Morton has 19 touchdown passes compared to just five interceptions. Texas Tech will host Colorado next week.
