Heading to Sun Belt Franklin announced he will transfer to Louisiana-Monroe this coming season.

Impact Franklin was part of the exodus of players to transfer out of Miami following the 2022 regular season. The sophomore running back accumulated 50 carries for 217 yards and five touchdowns, including two games with double-digit carries versus Southern Mississippi and Middle Tennessee. Franklin should carry at least two remaining seasons of collegiate eligibility.
