Impact Johnson led the Nittany Lions in receiving yards during Saturday's walk-over win against Massachusetts. Johnson came into Week 7 with 12 receptions (on 18 targets) for 101 yards and no touchdowns, so Saturday's outing was easily his best of the season. Johnson's role as a receiver has taken somewhat of a backseat to fellow tight end Tyler Warren, who has accumulated five touchdowns this season. However, with Penn State's vertical passing offense still largely limited, it's likely the team will continue to lean into its tight ends while in the red zone to cash out scoring drives. Both Johnson and Warren may see crucial scoring opportunities against Ohio State in Week 8.
