Impact It was clear after Ray was carted off that he would be out for the remainder of West Virginia's game Saturday. However, the injury is bad or tolling enough that he will sit out the 2024 Mountaineers' two remaining games of this year's regular season. Ray will finish it having logged the same amount of touchdowns (three) but making more of an impact output-wise with receiving yards, which he logged 404 of with 25 receptions.

Impact Ray reportedly has an air cast on his leg. The injury appears severe, meaning it's highly unlikely that he returns to action against the Bears. The receiver had three receptions for 22 yards and a score before he was taken to the locker room.
