Green finishes his freshman campaign with 13 catches for 101 yards and doubled his touchdown total after Wednesday's performance. Listed at 6-7, look for Green to find the endzone much more often in 2025 as the team's starting tight end.

Likely to start vs. Baylor Green is expected to start at tight end in the bowl game against Baylor on Dec. 31, Luke Hubbard reports.

Impact Mason Taylor has elected to go pro and is widely expected to sit the bowl game, meaning Green would have the chance to step in as his replacement. The freshman tight end appeared in eight games for LSU in 2024, making seven catches for 48 yards and two scores. That red-zone ability could make him useful going forward for the Tigers.
