Brendan Doyle - Catches TD SaturdayDoyle reeled in their only target for four yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-17 victory over Troy.
ImpactDoyle caught just one pass Saturday, a four-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. He now has two touchdowns through the first two games despite only seeing three targets. It's clear that Seth Henigan likes looking for Doyle in the redzone, but he's currently not seeing enough volume to be relied on consistently.

Roc Taylor - Quiet in Saturday's winTaylor logged four receptions (on seven targets) for 27 yards during Saturday's 38-17 victory over Troy.
ImpactTaylor led the Tigers with seven targets Saturday, but only gained 27 yards. In fairness, Seth Henigan only threw for 161 yards so there was not a lot of production to go around. Despite the poor performance, Taylor is still clearly one of Henigan's favorite targets and should get back on track soon.

Demeer Blankumsee - Another quiet outingBlankumsee reeled in 4 of 5 targets for 50 yards during Saturday's 38-17 win versus Troy.
ImpactBlankumsee slightly improved on his Week 1 performance Saturday, catching four passes for 50 yards. While the overall yardage wasn't great, it accounted for nearly one third of Seth Henigan's passing yards. It's been a fairly quiet start to the season for Blankumsee, but he showed his ability to have break out games last season so he's due for a productive outing soon.

Greg Desrosiers Jr. - Solid as No. 2 optionDesrosiers posted eight rushes for 59 yards and gathered in all two targets for three yards during Saturday's 38-17 victory versus Troy.
ImpactSutton Smith (leg) was ruled out for the season Saturday, giving Desrosiers a chance to make his case for being the team's No. 2 option. Desrosiers made his case well as he gained 62 yards from scrimmage on 10 touches. He was clearly the No. 2 option behind Mario Anderson and will likely continue to serve in that role for the remainder of the season.
