Impact On his senior day, Lavine scored three rushing touchdowns versus Navy, including an eight-yard and a 19-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Despite being the clear No. 4 back, he now has seven touchdown this season, six of which have come in the last five games. He scored 10 touchdowns last season as well, so its clear the Mustangs' coaching staff trusts him near the goal line.

Yet another score Lavine rushed 23 times for 91 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 25 yards in Saturday's 24-23 loss to BYU.
Impact Lavine took control of the Mustangs' backfield after it was depleted by injuries, and has performed admirably in that role. The senior had a great second half of the season, scoring nine times in the past seven games and gaining over 90 yards in each of the past five games. Lavine had a nice cap to the season, scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter and turning 27 touches into 116 total yards.
