Entering transfer portal Pigrome will enter the transfer portal for the third time in his collegiate career, Matt Zenitz of On3.com reports.
Impact Pigrome previously spent time as the starting quarterback for Maryland and Western Kentucky before transferring to Ole Miss last August. The graduate senior did not see in-game action while slotting in towards the bottom of Mississippi's quarterback depth chart in 2021. Pigrome last threw for 1,603 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions in 2020 with Western Kentucky and will likely look for a starting job outside of the Power 5 for his final season of collegiate eligibility.

Leaving WKU Pigrome entered the transfer portal Wednesday and is expected to move on from Western Kentucky as a graduate transfer, Chris Hummer of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Pigrome will be on the move from his second FBS program after he previously spent four years at Maryland before joining Western Kentucky in 2020 as a graduate transfer. He ended up emerging as the Hilltoppers' primary signal-caller last season, but he struggled to move the offense while under center, finishing the campaign with a 57.6 percent completion rate for 5.4 yards per attempt and a 9:2 TD:INT and adding 337 yards and four scores on the ground. With incoming FCS Houston Baptist transfer Bailey Zappe representing a strong candidate to open 2021 as Western Kentucky's starter, Pigrome might have seen the writing on the wall. He'll presumably look to spend his sixth and final year of eligibility at a program where he can have a clearer path to reps.
