Will miss 2024 season Davis will miss the 2024 season, per the MAC availability report.

Impact Davis was one of the top returning wideouts for the Chippewas from the 2023 campaign, but it appears he'll miss out on the 204 campaign, presumably due to an injury. Davis tallied 30 grabs for 453 yards and four touchdowns a season ago and will have to wait until 2025 to add to his career tallies.

Impact Considering that Davis was the Chippewas' best wideout during 2023, his depth-chart exclusion suggests an undisclosed problem could prevent him from being available Thursday.

Partaking in warmups Davis (undisclosed) is participating in warmups ahead of Tuesday's game versus Western Michigan, Central Michigan play-by-play broadcaster Adam Jaksa reports.

Impact Davis was unable to give it a go in Week 10 against Northern Illinois, but it appears he's in better shape from a health standpoint this week. That said, Tyson's participation in warmups isn't a guarantee he will play, but it certainly gives him a shot to do so. The sophomore enters Tuesday with 20 catches fo 251 yards and two touchdowns over seven games.

Impact Davis missed last week against Akron, but he now has at least five catches in each of his last two games as the Chippewas now move into some weeknight "MACtion" Oct. 31 against Northern Illinois.
