Impact It will apparently be Rogers under center instead of Doug Brumfield to kick off the season for the Rebels against Eastern Washington. There had been reports of UNLV rotating quarterbacks earlier in the week so that could still be the case even though Rogers is set to be the nominal starter.

Tyleek Collins - On depth chart for Week 1 Collins is listed as a backup receiver on UNLV's depth chart ahead of Thursday's season opener versus FCS Eastern Washington.

Impact Collins entered the transfer portal in January, but after assessing his options, the wide receiver ultimately chose to stick around in Las Vegas for his senior season. Listed as the direct backup to Steve Jenkins, Collins is the most experienced of the Rebels' reserve options at receiver. He tallied 12 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in 2020.
