Brandon Rose - Loss in first start Rose was 12-for-21 passing for 112 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 22-21 defeat against Brigham Young. He also had seven rushes for 55 yards.

Impact Rose initially had some success, but then struggled which has been the theme for quarterback play at Utah this season. His two touchdown passes were the first of his career. Stay tuned to see if he holds on to the starting job when they play Colorado next week.

Impact Huard has undergone a season-ending surgery on a undisclosed injury according to head coach Kyle Whittingham. The 6-foot-2 senior did not see the field with the Utes this season after transferring in from Cal Poly this offseason.
