Commits to Missouri Brown announced his commitment to Missouri on Saturday.

Impact Brown entered the transfer portal after Colorado State's 2024 season ended. The tight end used what he logged then to earn himself a Missouri move. Mizzou's team was without much depth at tight end before Brown committed, so it makes sense the Tigers wanted a proven option. They get that with a CSU transfer who logged 24 receptions for 256 yards and three touchdowns during 2024. Now, the question is how Brown fares alongside another top TE in Brett Norfleet.

Impact Both of Brown's touchdowns came in CSU's 29-point fourth quarter -- he cut the Utah State lead to 30-21 with a 12-yard grab early in the frame before adding a 26-yard touchdown to put the Rams ahead 42-30. It was an impressive effort for the senior tight end, who had just one touchdown on the year prior to Friday and two receptions for 14 yards in his previous four games. Overall, Brown has 21 grabs for 215 yards in 11 contests this season.

Impact Brown wasn't utilized much in the passing game to start the year, recording just eight receptions on 10 targets for 84 yards through his first five games. However, the senior tight end has now seen five targets in each of his last two games. Brown's role could continue to expand moving forward with top wideout Tory Horton (undisclosed) out for the season.
