Two scores in win Brown hauled in five of seven targets for 52 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 42-37 win over Utah State.

Impact Both of Brown's touchdowns came in CSU's 29-point fourth quarter -- he cut the Utah State lead to 30-21 with a 12-yard grab early in the frame before adding a 26-yard touchdown to put the Rams ahead 42-30. It was an impressive effort for the senior tight end, who had just one touchdown on the year prior to Friday and two receptions for 14 yards in his previous four games. Overall, Brown has 21 grabs for 215 yards in 11 contests this season.

Good to go vs. New Mexico Brown (undisclosed) will be good to go for Saturday's game against New Mexico, Kevin Lytle of the Fort Collins Coloradoan reports.

Impact Brown was apparently dealing with an injury earlier in the week, but he will ready to go for this clash, meaning he should handle his regular workload. Brown has 14 catches (on 20 targets) for 149 yards and one touchdown this season.

Snags first touchdown Brown logged two receptions (on five targets) for 37 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 21-13 win over Air Force.

Impact Brown wasn't utilized much in the passing game to start the year, recording just eight receptions on 10 targets for 84 yards through his first five games. However, the senior tight end has now seen five targets in each of his last two games. Brown's role could continue to expand moving forward with top wideout Tory Horton (undisclosed) out for the season.

Nabs starting tight end role Brown is listed as the starting tight end on Colorado State's opening depth chart.

Impact Brown has recored just four catches for 32 yards in his Colorado State career, but he's apparently locked down the starting tight end role for the Rams. The last two Rams tight ends both made it to the NFL (Dallin Holker and Trey McBride), so this is a position to monitor for Colorado State.
