Impact Drones is in danger of missing a second-consecutive game after sitting out against Duke in Week 13. The 6-foot-2 redshirt junior continues to deal with an undisclosed injury that has limited his practice load this week. Drones has tossed for 1,562 yards (136-of-224), 10 touchdowns and six interceptions across nine games, adding on 337 yards and six scores with his legs. With Collin Schlee (undisclosed) also questionable for the contest after suffering an injury against Duke, it is worth noting that William Watson in the Hokies' third option at quarterback heading into the week.

Impact At the very least, one reception is better than zero, which is how many receptions Gosnell logged in Week 12. Week 13 was at least slightly better, and his five targets then suggest he will be targeted several times over before the 2024 Hokies finish their regular season.

Impact Jennings had an extremely quiet season up to Week 13. in fact, the receiver tallied just seven catches for 164 yards in total prior to the Duke game, where he nearly surpassed those numbers. He was the clear favorite target of Colin Schlee, which is worth noting if the gunslinger starts another game for the Hokies.

Bhayshul Tuten - 86 total yards in loss Tuten totaled 19 rushes for 84 yards and one touchdown and reeled in all two targets for two yards during Saturday's 31-28 defeat versus Duke.

Impact Tuten was highly questionable leading up to the game, but he made his return and dominated the carries in the backfield with 19. The tailback didn't have his most efficient or explosive day, but he played his normal workload and led the way for the Hokies' tailbacks. He'll look to finish strong against Virginia in Week 14.

William Watson III - Rough outing in place of Schlee Watson was 12-for-25 passing for 146 yards and one interception during Saturday's 31-28 loss against Duke. He also had 17 rushes for negative four yards.

Impact Watson entered the game for Colin Schlee, who was already replacing Kyron Drones. He didn't fare all that well, completing under 50 percent of his passes and tossing an interception. The Hokies' quarterback situation is unclear moving foward, but Watson would feasibly be in line to start again if Drones and Schlee's injuries remain lingering.
