Jaylen Jenkins - Suspended for Week 8Jenkins was suspended for Washington State's game Saturday at Oregon, Greg Woods of The Spokesman-Review reports.
ImpactJenkins violated team rules, resulting in a suspension with a length that is unclear. In his place, Dylan Paine logged three carries for seven yards. Currently, Jenkins' next opportunity to play is at Arizona State on Oct. 28.

Cameron Ward - Massive line despite lossWard completed 34 of 48 passes for 438 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-24 loss to Oregon. He also had 11 rushes for 30 yards.
ImpactWard finally got the passing game in gear after two uninspiring performances, but it still wasn't enough against a potent Oregon defense. The Cougars kept it competitive for a good portion of the game but ultimately couldn't keep up with the Ducks, who leaned on Bucky Irving and the run game. Despite another loss, Ward still directs a powerful passing attack, and they'll try to get back in the win column against an Arizona State team that had success against Heisman hopeful Michael Penix.
